Basement Studio
Bruce and I have about 80% of the basement music studio finished. We double drywalled all the walls with GreenGlue (http://www.greengluecompany.com) between the sheets, and acoustic calking in the gaps. Around the outlets we used some sticky pads, and in the walls we used heavy wool insulation. It turned out pretty nice.
My Left Hand
This is the second sketch I did with the Sketchbook Pro demo from Autodesk. I really like the software. The best feature is that it is quick. There is no lag when moving the pen like on some of the other programs. Really, right now all I need is a pencil tool, and an airbrush.
Drywall
Lisa and I hung some drywall tonight. We work well together. I had a conversation with a co-worker today about working with our wives and we wondered about the people who say “I CANNOT work with my wife. We would kill each other/drive each other crazy”. It just doesn’t make any sense to me. How can you not be able to spend a couple hours working on a project together with your wife?
Anyway, since this is my first official post I thought I’d share something I heard at work today: “Someone looks like they need a big gay asian hug!”
